New series of dual-SIM Android smartphones
Two different series ADMEA presented: X-Link and X-View. The X-View 2 coming in September on the market, but it should already be replaced in November by the X-View third Both run on Android 4.0, have a 5.25-inch display with the rather low resolution of 800 × 480 pixels are, with Wi-Fi n, HSDPA equipped (7.2 Mbit / s) and a 5-megapixel camera and with 212 grams quite heavy. The differences are internal: While the X-View 2 only with a single-core processor (Cortex A9, 1 GHz) is running, the X-View 3 comes with a dual-core (also Cortex A9, 1 GHz). Users of the X-View 3 have to be content with a smaller battery companies (vs. 2300 mAh. 2450 mAh), it should be a little thinner. All units come with only 512 MB of RAM. The X-View 2 will be available in September at a price of 320 euros, for the X-View 3 Thomson calls the catalog at a price of 330 euros - at IFA but a spokesman called 370 euros.
The units of the X-Link series differ primarily in screen size, dimensions and weight of the devices are not yet known. The app's X-Link 3.5, X-Link and X-Link have 4.0 4.5 one named appropriate screen size, the more equipment meets the X-view devices (single-core processor, 1 GHz). The batteries are smaller, the X-Link 3.5 comes with a 1200 mAh battery, the other two units are equipped with a 1500 mAh of energy.
The X-Link 4.0 is to come in late September at a price of 190 euros on the market, prices and dates for the launch of two other devices Thomson has not yet been named.
All five smartphones have two slots for SIM cards, users are therefore under two phone numbers at the same distance. However, they have only one radio part (dual standby), so around during a phone call the other map data services are not available.
