The EU gets a Computer Emergency Response Team
The European Union is making its Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-EU) to the permanent establishment. The EU Commissioner Neelie Kroes announced via Twitter, even before the staff of the existing pilot project got wind of it. The Emergency Response Team is responsible for the security of all networks of the EU institutions, including the European Court of Justice and the Central Bank.
