Apple's stock shoots first time over $ 700

The strong demand for the new iPhone has driven Apple's stock to a record high. The paper rose on Tuesday in early New York trading for the first time to the distinctive mark of $ 700. The previous day, the stock had closed slightly lower, but after trading was increased further. Then it climbed up to the end of trading at $ 701.91.

The demand for the iPhone 5 is as strong as in any previous model. In the first 24 hours were more than two million advance orders received for the smartphone, Apple said. That's more than twice as many as the previous record holder and a direct precursor iPhone 4S. Also, the mobile operators in Germany recorded a great deal of interest.
