Internet Explorer 10 is in Do-Not-Track as a default
If version is published 10 of Internet Explorer, it will default to the "do-not-track" header (DNT) to send. This has confirmed for the highest data protection company, Brendon Lynch, in a blog post. In the "Express" installation of the browser will automatically pre-DNT.
In the custom installation, however it will give the option to disable DNT, as well as later in the browser settings. This approach corresponds to Microsoft's goal to make the IE functions so that they protect privacy of users as well, writes Lynch.
DNT is an including Mozilla and Google propagated process in which prompts an HTTP header to websites, not to monitor user behavior. It relies on the cooperation of website operators. By "tracking lists" Microsoft in IE at the same time pursuing its own approach, where the browser itself prevents the logging of user behavior effectively.
The W3C is concerned with the standardization of DNT. To date, provided that browsers send the header only if explicitly requested by the user in the settings. Microsoft's decision to deviate from this rule meets with supporters of the DNT-art criticism. They fear that you set a header by default could lead to a loss of acceptance among advertisers and thus lead to failure of DNT. However, there was support from the EU that Microsoft's pre-particularly welcomed.
So far, many sites use different methods, which are grouped under the term "tracking" to investigate user behavior. The goal is to sell advertising and matching to place. DNT and the tracking list to allow users to browse without logging
