First impression: Galaxy note 10.1
As it is, the Galaxy grade 10.1: At first glance, a conventional Android tablet with 10-inch display and compared with Nexus 7, iPad 3 or HD tablets from Acer and Asus a rather coarse resolution. But the trick is the little plastic pin that sits right in the pit bottom for sure: The music can in fact use 10.1, not only with the fingers, but this pen.
The display is in addition to capacitive finger detection, a digitizer, a special layer that responds to the plastic tip of the enclosed pen. Normal plastic pins around for resistive touch screens do not work, it must be the special pens from Samsung. Thanks to the thin tip is to write them more accurate and are characterized as the thick pins that are available for the capacitive displays the other tablets and smartphones.
One of the features of Notes 10.1: In split-screen mode you can run two apps side by side. Unfortunately that's not all, but only a few adapted from Samsung that. The pen can be used in all apps, but not adapted to the fact it only serves as a substitute for the finger. This brings about apps mainly for drawing or retouching an advantage. A handwriting recognition is not designed - unlike the smartphone Galaxy note, where Samsung has expanded the standard keyboard.
A special pin-app delivers with Samsung: S grade is also suitable for slightly more elaborate notes. The app is developed from the simple note app memo from S-grade smartphones and provides much useful as changeable backgrounds, multi-page notes and subfolders. You can insert notes into typed text passages, photos and sound recordings. The top centimeter of a lack of reasonable notice, however, can only change cumbersome scroll capability (see pictures section).
The Galaxy at the touch pen provided 1.10 (above) is slightly longer and considerably thicker than that of the Galaxy-grade smartphones (below). Both will work on both devices. By double-clicking with the stylus (hold down the button on the pen) anywhere on the screen or in another app you might create a new note. Displayed in a floating, movable window - the app in the background is conveniently operable and usable. The integration of these (derived from the older app version) notes in Memo S is solved, however unfortunate, because the missing special features such as inserting pictures or voice recordings.
