Another Facebook-manager's
With Ben Blumenfeld leaves another more senior managers, the company Facebook. He was there a good five years and most recently employed as a design manager responsible for making the interface more user friendly. Among other things, he should ensure that Facebook users use the new "timeline".
Blumenfeld writes in his blog, he had it fallen on facebook always good. He wanted to change but as co-director of the fund he co-founded designer to something from the ground up as an entrepreneur and help shape the design community. Some criticism of the social network exerted Blumenfeld told the magazine TechCrunch: Facebook to offer good products, but have not made clear to the users well, what changes were made and why.
Designers Against Blumenfeld finds these days several Facebook executives have abandoned their posts. Among them were chief engineers Bret Taylor, Ethan Beard (Director of Platform Partnerships), Kati Mitic (Platform Marketing Director) and Jonathan Matus (Platform Marketing Manager). Earlier, PR Director Barry cut and Carl Sjogren, Product Manager for Open Graph, adopted.
The designer, founded in April 2011 Fund is financed by the investment firm Andreessen Horowitz and 500 startups. He wants to support especially promising designers.
