LibreOffice 3.6 with numerous improvements
The Libre Office team has released version 3.6 of the open-source office suite released for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. Although they can not come up with spectacular new features, but offers several improvements. These include among others within data bars and color gradients of cells in Calc spreadsheets that can be used in series of numbers easier to read. Microsoft had already been introduced in Excel 2007.
When importing Word documents Writer now supports Smart Arts. The PDF export now makes it possible to deposit the document with a watermark. A new filter can now also be imported into CorelDraw drawings LibreOffice. In addition, the developers have revised slightly the surface, which comes now with frameless flat toolbars with icons.
