Austria: Free UMTS access for beginners


            The Austrian UMTS network operator 3 (Hutchison 3G Austria) is now offering free Internet access for everyone. It is a basic access with 20 MB of data transfer per day. In the first seven days of activation is 1 GB free. The target group are mainly those who want to try the mobile internet or even where it fails on the financial. The offer is part of the "Initiative 100% - the whole country on the Internet" by the Austrian Institute for Applied Telecommunications (ÖIAT).
