New version of Nokia Transport for Windows Phone 8

The update brings a more intuitive interface including a segmented view of a route via public transport. It is also available in beta for Windows Phone 7.

Nokia announced yesterday the arrival of a new version of Nokia Transport. The latter allows you to plan a trip using public transportation (53 countries and 550 cities covered).

In menu 3.0 update, a more intuitive interface presented as a segmented view of the route which toggles on the map corresponding to each step of the way. Function effectively practice that we could test from a Nokia Lumia 920. Once the specified destination, the route is displayed as a frieze down the path distinguishing portions to make walking with time and transport to borrow. Simply select one of the segments to access the map and see where we are compared to the current route.

Also new is the ability to plan a trip in advance. Nokia Transport offers several options for specifying the ride time. The advantage is that you can see in advance transport to borrow, which is useful for example if we go to a station to catch a train. The application can be customized to display either the time of shipping or the time remaining before departure. Good news, a beta version of Nokia Transport for Windows Phone 7 is also available.
