Apple Maps manager fired

Richard Williamson, responsible for the much-criticized iOS-6-Apple Maps mapping service manager should have left the company. The boss of Apple cards department was fired, the business news agency Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal report unanimously. This has prompted Eddy Cue, Apple's Internet services boss, who has been responsible for the end of October, the cards offer.


Cue should therefore also through otherwise, to solve the problems with the service. He was in contact with experts outside the card company that should help. He had also urged the TomTom service that supplies Apple with data, to solve problems in navigation and location information. Cue also wanted to build a new leadership team for the map service. Apple declined to comment on the report of an opinion, and Williamson was not, according to Bloomberg and Wall Street Journal reached for comment.

According to some massive problems with the iOS mapping service to Apple CEO Tim Cook had apologized personally to the customer. Since then, the company is working on improvements obviously strengthened.
