2.5 million orders for the Nokia Lumina 920

If this figure is confirmed, it would be a very good start to the flagship Nokia Windows Phone 8.

Encouraging signs about the new Nokia Lumia seem to multiply. Although they remain to be confirmed. A few days ago, Nokia Germany indicated on his Facebook page that these terminals were out of stock at retailers.

Today, it is China that Yahoo says the Lumia 920, the top model of the Finnish have been ordered 2.5 million copies worldwide since its launch at the end of October.

A figure very honorable to the manufacturer that shows a real rise. Recall that the third quarter, Nokia has elapsed and that 6.3 million smartphones which only 2.9 million Lumia.

Attention, however, Yahoo evokes orders placed by operators and not the final sale. But the advanced volumes seem to confirm a real appetite on the part of operators and therefore customers.

Smartphone and Windows Phone 8 seem especially convincing and Nokia could eventually get (finally) up against challenger that aims Android and iPhone. The group also multiplies the efforts from distributors but also the public with a massive advertising campaign in which stars say all the good they think of Lumia.

As we know, Nokia plays with her big new Lumia. In the third quarter, the group's loss reached 969 million euros, or 14 times that recorded in the same period in 2011.
