VirtualBox 4.2 supports Windows 8 and Mountain Lion
Oracle has released version 4.2 of its free desktop Virtualisierers VirtualBox. VirtualBox 4.2 supports Windows 8, Mac OS X 10.8 "Lion Mountain" and Oracle Linux 6.3 as host and guest.
