Curiosity Mars probe: Sent pictures allow panoramic shots

             From orbit, there are other shots that show the area of Curiosity before and after the landing of the rover. Especially striking here are the traces left by the weights according to their case. Moreover, there is a color photograph of the feed around Curiosity on which is again the red color of the background very clearly.

              For Curiositys next day on Mars (Sol 3) not only the upload is scheduled for a work on the surface of optimized software, but also the inclusion of color panoramic images. In addition, other instruments will be tested for their ability to function. Has been announced for the future, NASA also augmented-reality applications for smartphones, a corresponding ARTag was attached to the probe.
