Sony's flagship camera with translucent mirror
Announcement of the device is remarkable in that previous professional full-frame SLR camera Sony - Alpha 900 - was introduced as many as four years ago.
Camera has a new full-frame Exmor CMOS-sensor with 24.3 megapixel resolution with high sensitivity surface (to reduce the number of noise in low light).
In addition, the new product boasts a unique dual autofocus system for phase detection with a 19-point main sensor and 102 additional focus points on the matrix.
System-way mirror allowed Sony to remove the device from the pentaprism (used here is much smaller than the electron OLED-screen viewfinder with a resolution of 1024x768), which in turn reduced the size and weight of the device, and now (including those due to the light magnesium alloy body, protected from moisture and dust) A99 is the lightest full-frame SLR camera in the world.
Sony Alpha A99 boasts BIONZ processor with support for the latest generation of 14-bit RAW-files and noise on the image area.
Also new is equipped with a Multi-pass filter, increasing the resolution of the sensor,
Lens support Sony / Minolta bayonet A, image stabilization with sensor shift and integrated GPS-module.
The camera got a new steering wheel on the front and a 3-inch shifted in three directions LCD technology WhiteMagic and TruBlack (1,3 M).
Sensitivity range of cameras - from 100 to 6400 ISO (expandable to 25,600 and continuous shooting noise reduction by - up to 102 400), shutter speed range - 30 to 1/8000 sec. You can shoot with the frequency of 6 frames per second at full resolution, as well as Full HD video at 60 or 24 frames per second with stereo sound and HDMI output support in real time. Battery NP-FM500H yields image up to 500 shots per charge.
